The Maryland Department of Commerce is supporting a delegation of Maryland medical technology and digital health companies to attend The MedTech Conference organized by AdvaMed in Toronto, Canada, October 15-17, 2024.

If selected to join the delegation, your company will receive:
  • One complimentary All-Access Pass to the 2024 MedTech Conference
  • Digital promotional opportunities through the Maryland Department of Commerce’s marketing channels
Additionally, three companies in the delegation will have the opportunity to present at the conference’s Innovation Pavilion. To be eligible for the Innovation Pavilion, you must apply directly to the MedTech Conference, in addition to completing this application to join the Maryland delegationSelection does not include exhibition space or cover travel costs.  Applications are due by COB July 10, 2024.
By applying, you agree to:
  • Commit one representative to attend the conference in person
  • Provide us with a summary of your experience within 30 days following the conference


BGE’s 2024 Energizing Small Business Grants Program

BGE, in partnership with Hello Alice and the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), launched its 2024 Energizing Small Business Grant Program. The program is offering $20,000 grants to help Maryland businesses succeed in their operations including employee hiring or capital improvements. Apply by July 12. Apply here

Military Personnel and Veteran-owned Small Business Program
The Military Personnel and Veteran-owned Small Business Loan Program (MPVOLP) provides no interest loans ranging from $1,000 to $100,000 for businesses owned by military reservists, veterans, National Guard personnel and for small businesses that employ or are owned by such persons.
