Thank you to all who were able to attend the annual NE Chamber Awards Reception on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Milburn Stone Theatre. It was a lovely evening of honoring our winners with the added bonus of being able to enjoy the traveling CCPS Student Art Show, Solo Exhibit of local artist Jessica Cooke, and a dress rehearsal showing of “Curtains! A Musical Comedy Whodunit”.

Description of the Awards:
- 2023 Volunteer of the Year
This award recognizes and honors an outstanding individual who is volunteering their time and talent in the non-profit sector. This individual is making a significant contribution to the North East community through commitment, service, creativity, cooperation and leadership in their volunteer role(s). - 2023 Business Person of the Year
The Business Person of the Year Award recognizes the outstanding contributions of our business people to the community and overall progress and/or economy of the North East and/or Cecil County area. Selection of the award is based on evidence of an individual’s successful operation in Business and evidence of significant contribution to the community. - 2023 Business of the Year
This award recognizes a business that contributes to the economic growth and quality of life in our community. Practices a professional conduct and contributes to a sense of cooperation within the entire business community. - President’s Award
This award is for the special honoring of a community member who has gone above and beyond in support of the North East community. - Certificates of Appreciation
These certificates are presented to community members who have performed an exemplary service to the North East Chamber is promoting its efforts to the North East community.
