The High 5 Cleanup Initiative has partnered with Bay Venture Outfitters to do another Spring cleaning of the marsh area across from North East Community Park! This cleanup is also registered with Alliance for the Bay’s Project Clean Stream. Last year we were able to pull a ton of trash, literally! We will meet at Bay Venture Outfitters to sign in, get supplies, assign areas and launch. There will be a limited number of kayaks provided by Bay Venture Outfitters so register early if you need one. If you have one, bringing your own kayak is highly encouraged. We love canoes too! We will provide gloves, bags, waters and light snacks. We recommend closed toe shoes, pants, hats, and bug spray. All safety protocols will be followed.
