Member Spotlight: Creating Achievers

Creating Achievers’ main focus is to offer additional programs and activities in the community for children of all ages. Their Mission is to promote programs that will keep children engaged and out of trouble. They strive to provide opportunities that promote skill development, sportsmanship, and positive self-growth.

Creating Achievers was founded by Ashelie Williams in February of 2024. Ashelie states that they plan on being a big part of the community. They currently do not have their own center but are operating out of the Passion Styles Fitness Studio at 505 South Main Street in North East. Most of the activities are held at this location. Ashelie shares that they are currently looking for volunteers to lend a helping hand for upcoming sports programs until they are able to hire paid employees.

When Ashelie was asked for a fun fact about her, she replied “I was born with a rare heart condition called Pulmonary Atresia, also known as ‘Single Ventricle’. As a child I was limited on what activities and sports I was able to engage in, especially those that involved jumping or moving. This is my reason for starting Creating Achievers – to offer children the opportunity to be able to do all the sports and activities that I was unable to participate in.”
